SUPERINTENDENT'S UPDATE

September 1, 2009
Dear Midland Community Members:
As we begin the 09-10 school year, we are facing the
possibility of an outbreak of the H1N1 flu virus. Our district has been in
contact with the Marshall County Health Department and the Center for
Disease Control. Please rest assured our school district is taking
preventive measures to protect all students within our school community.
Likewise, this page will be the repository for all H1N1 Flu information that
becomes available to our district. As you are most likely aware of there is
a vaccine in the development stage.
We have posted a number of informational articles on our website regarding
how families and schools can work together to try to limit exposure to the
H1N1 virus. Information is also available from a variety of agencies.
Please visit this site often for additional information.
