Terri Lambrecht called the meeting to order at 6:40 p.m.
Secretary’s Report – approved

Principal’s Report
-Julie Albers
-Christmas program went well
-concerns of disrespectful audience members (talking on cell phones, talking while students are performing/ ? of how to address situation
-Pre-K program tomorrow 12-16-08
-members of community offering to buy clothes and toys for needy
-collected $175.00 for Lacon Home Journal
-Friday will be Reindeer games
-Peg Frey
-Christmas program went well
-Wed 12-17-08 holiday tea and breakfast for subs and bus drivers etc.
-many needy families
-Girls B-Ball won regionals but lost sectionals
-Sports banquet January 2009
Old Business
-Book Fair = $3, 858.00/ made 60%
-$15.00 to $18.00 for each teacher
-vouchers for library to order also
-next book fair May 4-8 2009 (buy 1 get one free)
-Bake Sale = elementary $305.00, middle school $200.00 (sold everything)
-Carnival
-food = Diane Wunder (chili, hot dogs, nacho, pretzels, lemonade, water)
-ticket price = $.25 a ticket
-silent auction = letter to teachers next month
-Grand Raffle prizes purchased
-Carrie Schupp
-request for sweatpants, socks, underwear, boys and girls (no jeans)
for school per Patti Kargol
-buying for needy families
-$200.00 requested to Carrie for purchased items for needy family
in the district. Request by Peg Frey for $200.00 for middle
school to be given at her discretion.
-Stacey Watkins motioned to approve
-motion approved by executive board due to no other
members present
