MIDLAND PTO MEETING MINUTES 2-23-09

Terri Lambrecht brought the meeting to order at 6:36 p.m.

Secretary’s report= approved

Treasurer’s report= approved

Principal’s report

                -Julie Albers

                                -ISAT informational night for 3^rd and 4^th

                                 grade parents on Thursday 6:30 p.m.

                                -ISAT = snacks/? Pizza price for the end of ISAT

                                -due to snow days reports will be 3-20-09 for elem.

                                -Pre-K/K screening

                                                -Pre-k = 4-24-09  (age 3 @ time of screening)

                                                -K = 4-16-09 & 4-17-09 (age 5 by 9-1-09)

                                -Bowling for AR 3-19-09 & 3-20-09  ($1.00/student)= $270.00

New Business

                -$16,000+ in savings

                -$10,000+ in checking

                -will need $6,000 at the beginning of the school year through October

                -will need $8,200 to complete the current school year

                                -Terri will write a fundraiser letter to the public explaining why/why not

                                -motion was made by Stacey Blew to not have a fundraiser
