MIDLAND PTO MEETING MINUTES 3-23-09

Terri Lambrecht called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.

Secretary’s report = approved

Treasurer’s report =            

                -Roller skating has went up $.50 since budget was done last year

                                -Renee Bogner motioned to approve

                                -Nicole Sivertsen seconded

                -budget approved

Principal’s Report

                -no principals in attendance due to school board meeting

New Business

                -Secretary’s Day is 4/23/09

                                -included retiring people also

                                                -engraved rocks will be given to retirees

                                                -30 minute massages to secretaries

                                                -Missy Bade motioned to approve

                                                -Tiona Kimble seconded

                -Teacher Appreciation week

                                -Student council and Pack Leaders will be doing a couple of days

                                                -Lisa Stewart will communicate with the middle school

                                                -Terri Lambrecht will communicate with the elementary school

                                -flower baskets will be given

                                                -Margie Deffenbaugh motioned to approve

                                                -Missy Bade seconded

                -Field Day=May 26^th for elementary & ? day for middle school

                                -Pizza

                                                -getting prices from Pizza Peel and Pizza Hut

                                -games

                                                -teachers will do middle school

                -Back to School Fun Night=August 14th

                -55 interested, 115 not

                -there is a person willing to chair

                -looking at student volunteers

                -social and Thank You to the volunteers for the year

                -will be brought forth for the April Meeting

-Carnival Survey given to middle school students

                -students enjoyed the jousting
