F-PROT Anti-Virus Instructions

Instructions on how to manually Update your Anti-Virus Definitions, and to manually Scan your computer for Viruses.

1.  Double left click on the F-Prot Icon on your computers Desktop Screen.  (See Below)

2.  Next manually update your virus definitions by clicking on the Updater Button. (See Below)

3.  Next on the Updater screen click on the Update Button.  (See Below)

4.  After the Update is complete close the update window and the quit the update program.

5.  Next you need to manually Scan your computer for Viruses.  Click on the Scan Button.  (See Below)

6.  Next click on the Scan Now Button.  (See Below)

7.  The computer will now scan for viruses on your hard drives.  When the scan has completed pay attention to the scan log.  If the log says it found a virus but could not disinfect or delete you need to contact Mr. Moutray as soon as possible.  The virus will have to be removed using other methods.
